Beer of the Moment

With my first remote post, I’m sharing one of my favorite things. My love of beer. I don’t love beer in the way frat dudes who do 90 second keg-stands or 5 second shot-guns do—I love beer the way a 57 year old man who drives an old Benz and mows his lawn every Sunday morning does. That might be a terrible analogy. what I’m getting at is I enjoy beer for it’s flavor. Simple or complex as it may be, beer comes in so many wonderful forms. It’s wonderful to experience different styles of beer as the seasons change and my palette evolves.

My beer of the moment is a Founder’s scotch style ale called “Dirty Bastard”. With its hint at the oak barreled malty goodness that is scotch, Dirty Bastard rounds itself with a smooth finish and caramel overtone that is so very inviting. Being a scotch lover as well this beer has quickly become a go-to for me. I recommend it to any tasteful drinker.
